El Tros Vall Llach Barcelona

We love Barcelona and make it a point to spend at least some time there each year. A few years back, while out for an evening walk, we happened upon El Tros which is gently tucked a few steps down from the street level on Calle Mallorca. The warm glow emanating from it really called out to us and we stepped in. The front section is a small and cozy wine bar with the large vats of wine along the wall to the right. On our first visit we had some tapas and wine here and were immediately taken in. The staff was very attentive and knowledgable and even managed to recreate a wine we liked by looking it up and then doing a blend from the vats at hand. The tapas we had were excellent and immediately had us wanting to go back. Behind that is the dining portion of the restaurant which is lovely and has a piano set against one wall. Our most recent dinner there with friends was out of this world delicious and I can 't say enough about it...loved everything. The friends we went with, who live in Barcelona, say they go at least twice each week...which we totally understand. Looking forward to the next time and hope they incorporate some light piano accompaniment at one point.

We had a food tour and our guide took us here. This was my husband s favorite vermouth and we really enjoyed the tapas. Never thought I would have liked the anchovies in vinegar. A great way to start our trip.

Went there twice in five days. Food is very good, choice of wines is interesting and the sommelier is very knowledgeable. Apparently wines are from their own vineyards. The place is very stylish and the photos on the walls are incredible, all reltrd to ghe vines nd vineyards. The atmosphere is welcoming and it is a nice place to enjoy good food, good wine and good company

Perfecto! en precio de calidad, en medio ambiente y en servicio. todo muy buen gusto, muy amable servicio y un ambiente íntimo y tranquilo. Buenos vinos. para ir en un plan tranquilo, es un totalmente recomendado y seguro que repetiremos. la mejor mesa de queso, patatas fritas y bacalao (en nuestro caso un poco de frío pero es perdoba). dejar espacio para postres, casero y sabroso.

Lo primero: No es un restaurante. Si tenemos esto en mente, disfrutaremos mucho. Es un lugar acogedor que vas a degustar, básicamente, vinos Priorat. el vino se acompaña con platos (el pap con peras muy aceptables) o con algunos quesos magníficos y perfectos. repetiremos.
