Bar Restaurante 3 Sols - Barcelona

We first visited this place when we where wandering along looking for somewhere to eat having no idea where to eat. Good, friendly service and delicious, reasonably priced food. The patatas bravas where much better than we have had previously elsewhere as they were oven baked to perfection with mayo and a creamy chilli sauce on the side, moorish skewers (pork shish-kebabs), chicken wings (deep fried until crispy) and last but by no means least the garlic mushroom casserole which worked so well with all the other dishes due to its abundance of delicious olive oil flavoured with garlic. We enjoyed The 3 Sols so much that we came back on our last evening and had the same again with the addition of chicken croquettes which where golden, moist and delicious. Every dish was cooked well and very tasty, the beer was served cold and like the food was very reasonably priced. We ate in much more expensive restaurants then this while in Barcelona but this was by far the most enjoyable.
