Casa Bonita Tropical Lodge - Barahona

We came as a group to make the Baldachin tour and the waterfall hike. we also ate an breakfast there and a lunch. everything we did was amazing. I would recommend it as a place to experience the best that the Dominican Republic has to offer.

Truly serene experience. Expensive but worth it $1000 per dish

3 star review for a 3 star hotel. They say breakfast and dinner is included but when you order something they never had it available and would tell you the menu is out of date. If you go to the front desk they just call the kitchen lazy. When they finally sent food to us it was as if it was ordered outside the restaurant and brought in. The place is outdated but if you just need a quick place to crash this place is decent for that

We came as an unpromptu stop on our slumber week in the Dominican Republic. it was the best decision we ever made. bere and gonzalo went out of her to make this the most unforgettable experience. the beauty was unprecedented. it is a literal gem in the middle of the jungle. we were in one of the river houses that felt like in one of the houses of james bond. it was stunning and very private. the employees were on the spot and always there when we need something. they had just received an enormous loss of ownness on a fire, but we never knew they had not explained. eating was excellent. we flew in our aircraft and would recommend this as a stop for private pilots. the airport is not open for commercial use, but it is very close and they will be a shuttle, the driver was so friendly. there is an endless amount of activities, we tried the rocksauna and it was great. I look forward to seeing what new experiences they have built next time, because we will definitely be back!

Unbelievable. we were there with our 7-year-old son. eating is really delicious. the personal, if full attention and at the level of the best international hotels. for example I had a flat tire and they managed to repair it in the night.
