Wonderful place, situated right in the middle of Stari Grad, with amazing atmosphere, really cool interior design, and some amazing views of the city! But first and foremost, the food was really delicious, we’ve tried ćepavi, japrak, vegetable plate, shopska salad and domaći pomegranate juice, and everything tasted so good! I also have to point out that the staff members were exceptionally nice and we had our dishes ready in no time, although the restaurant was really crowded that time! Special mention to Damian, who surprised us with knowing some polish words, and he was very friendly and super fast! I’m already looking forward to another visit at Bedem, hopefully some time soon! Refused service because previously we dined at restaurant across the street. Apparently the owner hates his neighbor so much that also hates customers who dine there. Also very rude. There are some good solid vegan options and the staff were helpful and flexible with our needs

After spending the last 10 days in Croatia and Montenegro and mostly cooking as most of the places in smaller towns were not vegan, this one was a nice change. Amazing food. The staff knows what vegan diet means. Also all the vegan options are marked on the menu. I recommend the vegetable plate.
