Manor House Inn - Bar Harbor

We only stayed for one night, but the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The warm welcome during check-in, the beautifully decorated room, and the hearty breakfast set us up perfectly for the next leg of our journey. The friendly hostess greeted us and even gave us a mini tour of the room, making us feel at home despite our exhaustion from visiting and hiking in Acadia. Just minutes later, we were pleasantly surprised to find refreshing iced tea and lemonade waiting at our door – such a thoughtful touch! The shower had great water pressure, there was a lovely garden to relax in, and we appreciated the unexpected air conditioning. Plus, it was only a short walk to downtown. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

This restaurant is ideally situated near various shops and eateries. The rooms are cozy and thoughtfully decorated. The main house provides a welcoming atmosphere, offering tea and coffee throughout the day along with delicious baked goods in the afternoon. Breakfast was delightful, and the staff was incredibly attentive, making sure all our needs were met and that we felt comfortable and completely satisfied.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived until the minute we departed almost a week later, this was the perfect place to be. The staff were friendly and professional, the rooms were spotless and tastefully decorated, and both breakfast and tea time were delightful. The inn is just a short walk away from everything Bar Harbor has to offer. We can't wait to return!

First visitors to Bar Harbor to celebrate our wedding anniversary. On arrival we were greeted by Diane and soon realized that we made an amazing new friend. Ken and Stacey have done a wonderful job with the house. Our room (Biscobel #5) was immaculate, welcoming and comfortable. The two days were varied and delicious and we enjoyed taking tea with other guests in the afternoon. Just a short walk to restaurants, shops and the port. A great value and overall wonderful experience.

Ken and Stacy are great host. The rooms are nicely decorated and always clean and comfortable. The location is very close to The town wharf which serves as a working waterfront for the local lobsterman. The end is close to where watching and sightseeing excursions. It's an easy walk to downtown. And the entrance to the national Park is not far at all
