Holbrook House Bed And Breakfast Harbor, Me

We had such a great time at Holbrook House! The room has been updated, clean and comfortable with modern amenities in a charming environment. Everything for an incredible price especially given the area. I was a kid in Bar Harbor, but that was my first time my partner and we had an amazing time to come to Holbrook every night. Michelle and Eric were gracious hosts, the breakfast every morning was so delicious, and the baked things left out every day were to die! Our hosts were available and knowledgeable across the area, trails and everything we needed. We also met beautiful people who stay there! I definitely come back!

We had a great stay with Michelle and Eric at Holbrook House. Our room was great, large, refrigerator, wine glasses, TV, a deck, room darkened shades (I never slept so late) and a large bathroom with the most incredible shower spray options! The Inn was very clean and well ordered, we loved to sit in the garden with a glass of wine in the afternoon or a simple walk in the city centre and easy parking on site. Don't miss Michelle's afternoon treatments! If you were there last week and missed the molasses cookies, it was probably because I ate them so delicious! Breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented! We can't wait back! Thank you. Michelle and Eric and the Doggien for our first stay in Bar Harbor fantastic!!

Truly the only place I will ever stay in Barhafen! AMAZING Breakfast, really better than going to a restaurant! CLEAN updated rooms, our shower was the best shower I ever had, and we both slept so well in the comfortable cozy bed! And amazing location, to everything you need, with the best recommendations of staff here at Holbrook House. Thank you for me, I had a beautiful and welcoming place to come back after a long day of hiking in Acadia!

Close enough to go in downtown Bar Harbor, but far enough away to not with all the people and traffic. Eric and Michelle were super friendly and the breakfast was fantastic; some of the best breakfast dishes I've ever had. After our first breakfast we have stabbed all our other breakfast plans for the trip and registered for the breakfast provided every day. That was my first BnB experience and it was great.

Stayed in the Compass Rose room four nights. Lovely room at the end of the hall upstairs. At check-in owner Erik shared information about the property and what to do in town. Later he shared that our room has received the most upgrades since they began renovations. They do one per off season. Breakfasts were delicious. Chatter was friendly among guests at breakfast. Because of COVID, they are not cleaning rooms while you’re there, unless you request it and then they are happy to. They provide places on each floor for emptying trash and will provide you with clean towels upon request. This place is so cozy and inviting.
