All their breakfasts were mouthwashed and taken care. We stayed in two rooms and from the smallest to the largest room, the station is very comfortable. The location is super-cheap, about a 5-minute walk from Main Street, where everything is located in Bar Harbor. Again, I cannot stress enough how great a stay it was in the station. Prices, rooms, kitchen, location, all of them, 5 stars!
We had a wonderful stay and would recommend Aysgarth Station to anyone who travels to Bar Harbor. The location is just a few minutes walk from downtown and close to several parking entrances. The service is top-notch, with comfort, great attention to detail and beautiful personal touches, such as baked goods every afternoon. Staying here has really improved our Maine holiday experience!
Great place to stay! Melody was great! We spent a week here and she prepared another gourmet breakfast each morning. Your homemade afternoon snacks were also great! Everything was clean and we enjoyed their two sweet cats. It offers several great guides for the park you can borrow and they gave us great tips on the park. The inn is walking distance to everything, including the free shuttle to Acadia. We recommend Aysgarth Station!!
We loved our four-night stay in Bar Harbor! Melody was a wonderful host and prepared a delicious selection of breakfast. Every afternoon, she provided a homemade snack with tea, coffee or soft drinks. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and quiet with all the amenities you need. The B
I just got home from a lengthy stay at Aysgarth Station and cannot wait to go back. Melody is so accommodating and friendly. Her breakfasts and daily snacks were highlights to each day. She was so good about all of my dietary requirements and even enthusiastic so I felt so comfortable. I loved hanging out on the front porch with a glass of wine and a book, chatting with other guests in the main sitting room, and in my comfy room. I’m so glad I had the jetted tub for after some of those tough hikes. There isn’t anywhere else I would rather stay when visiting the lovely Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. So convenient to be walking distance to downtown and to some great trails heading to Cadillac Mountain. No doubt that I will be back at Melody’s front door for another wonderful stay.
