Lemberg Bistro - Banska Stiavnica

Lovely bistro with nice decor and attentive staff. They have limited menu with only daily offer but I like it that way. Great food, interesting and tasty Sicialian desserts and good beer.

We visited several vegan restaurants in Slovakia in the past few weeks and unfortunately this one was the worst of them all. Quite expensive for what you get small portions especially considering the price. Meals were simple,which could be a good thing,unfortunately not in this case lacking flavour so they were quite bland. Also the fried tofu and and chips were unnecessarily oily. Around 2pm there was last vegan pastry left and no vegan cakes at all to choose from. Considering there were 2 other couples when we ordered we waited upwards of 30 mins for our food to arrive which seemed forever. Also we were advised when we went to pay the bill that they only take cash which was a surprise in this day and age. Overall disappointing experience given the great reviews seen elsewhere.

I appreciate the very beautiful interior and very kind service! I also appreciate the pets friendly zone and the water that our puppy got. They have a very interesting menu that includes dishes from all over the world. (But I missed India and curry.:(Unfortunately, I chose a dish that I didn't like but that's just my opinion and I rate the restaurant positively:
