Food was delicious but not too many selections, not too many Japnese food selection only a few sushi, seafood. I think I didn't see any lamp chops, roast duck or pork chops only beef slices. The desert area was quite a few selection and well presented, ice ceam place only had 4 buckets of Hagen das, the other brand had 2 buckets only. Fruit I only see 3/4 selections as well. Overall, I believe it is great for view as it is situated on the 50th floor and seems for people who love elegant dinning, for this price and want great selection of food, there are other better selection buffet restaurants to choose and also close by.
View at 50th floor is good. Food tastes yummy but is not various, compared to other all-you-can-eat buffet. Lifts are not many, we need to wait in lines for whiles when up and leave restaurant. Staffs are friendly. Location is good, right near department store, park and public transportation. Overall dining experience is just okay.
Two 17 persons capacity elevators serving three restaurants on three top floors, a questionable architectural design decision in the first place; had to wait in a long queue for elevator access upon arrival. A receptionist confirmed our booking on the ground floor before entering the elevator, yet the counter person on the 50th floor had to check again after we exited the elevator, as if we were clearing checkpoints. The floorplan of 50F. Cafe is poorly laid out with very tide corridor space, leaving little space for queuing. The furnitures have the expensive look and weight but are very impractical for buffet style dining. Food was mostly lukewarm at best and tasted average. Some employees had attitude issues and certainly need retraining. Also, the till only accepts physical Happy Go card to collect points; apparently it doesn't have the equipment to scan APP that is developed by the company it's located in. Overall, the best part of the dining experience was perhaps the city view in the toilet, but the toilet needs rework too. An ambitious 5-star project with Shangri-La International Hotel management that fails to deliver the 5-star hospitality experience, much improvement needed to stay relevant.
The view is nice in general I guess but not for today, kinda foggy. Food selection is not a highlight, good enough but not great. I guess together with the view, this is okie for what you paid. The lady who came to offer payment is nice, helpful. We have a kid together and she was very kind to guide him on how to play the lucky wheel.
Really good value for the price and quite decent quality food. Quite surprised by the quality of the food for the price. It is on the 50th floor so it also have a nice view and nice ambiance. Definitely recommend checking out this place at least once. (Best to make reservations beforehand to ensure window seats) Tried all the food here, the steak was nice, the fried noodles was surprisingly good, even though was reluctant to try at first as we are from Hong Kong. Satay was quite nice too. Fries too. Their sashimi is nice. Glad to have some fatty salmon.
