The Outcider - Banora Point

We ordered two salads. Regrettably both had little flavor, the meat was dry, and seemed like they had been quickly assembled from a packet. I did give some feedback and hopefully things will improve.

Haven eaten here a several times over the last couple of years but appears to have changed hands. Decor has gone from interesting to not so, but with the bonus of sticky tables and dog eared menus. The menu appears now a lot more basic (which is ok) as is the service (not ok). Ordered a James Squire beer and was given the cheaper Steam and Rail Coles Liquorland equivalent...very classy. When the food finally came along it was pretty decent with good portion size. Shame chef failed to notice the third order for pizza which was provided gratis as a take away showing up after the other diners on our table had finished. The waitstaff are nice kids but they really need some direction as does the kitchen by the looks of it.

Cute little place. Service is good. I have had better but also had worse. The food was average. Corn fritters with minimal taste. It sucks to go out and have a meal and decide you can cook better at home.

Went to The Outcider for lunch on Saturday and had the burger with chips. My girlfriend had the vegan burger & sweet potato. both were awesome. Good selection of ciders too. Place had a good vibe.

The menu was uninteresting and service staff disinterested. Food was bland. Sticky tables made us wonder what the kitchen where food was coming from might be like ??
