Chase's Family - Bangor

Don't just drive by..... This is an easy place to simply drive by but you'd miss wholesome food, reasonable prices and a friendly, local atmosphere. There are either a ton of cars outside or the place appears abandoned but whichever it is, once you get inside you'll find a typical menu with reasonable prices and attentive waitstaff even at the busiest moments. We passed by here hundreds of times and never stopped. That was really a mistake!

Don't let the rather modest exterior fool you. The food is almost like elevated dinner food. Really very well prepared. Extensive menu and excellent service. The warm pretzel appetizer arrived with ale dipping sauce and a mustard sauce and was soft and chewy with a crunchy exterior. For lunch I chose the pork rib eye with a cinnamon rub, spiced apples and whipped butternut squash. Excellent. The interior of the restaurant is casual and cute. I would definitely go back.

Excellent food and very inexpensive! Everything was delicious. Our waitress was wonderful and was able to split the checks up for us. The food came out quickly and we had no problems. We will definitely be going back!!!

We were in the area going to be planning on planting some flowers in the local cemetery and has a storm come through. Decided to find a place to eat. Went in H had a great meal. Two orders of Fried Scallops and one of the specials. Neal was quick plenty. Glad we found you! We'll stop by again soon!

First time here! French onion soup was amazing! Worth the drive from Lincoln,me just for the soup! Chicken Parm you could cut with your fork, pasta sauce was home made and delicious! Chicken marsel was great, sauce was so flavorful! Service was outstanding!
