Blaze Bangor, LLC

I am a native of bangor. I don't live here anymore, but I'm never gonna get a blow when I come to visit. that was the best experience! I felt like in the inner city of boston. the roads lived with a contagious summer energy. the outside seat area was large and almost full. I decided to sit inside. I sat in a window seat and enjoyed the eclectic look of the people who migrated. I am not too old to enjoy a beautiful landscape. I'm sure there were some of them. (view photos) my waitress, tyra (left) was exceptionally sweet and very attentive. the bartender was friendly and makes a stellar drink. for those who are unfamiliar, sits blaze in a building that is more than 100 years old. in the cellar there is a nuclear subsoil. nextdoor is the charles inn. it is considered by some as persecuted and, once presented in the hotel impossible al brady was rejected by fbi just outside both buildings. In 1937 he and his band came to bangor to buy machine guns from a local sports shop. the fbi was tipped off. the shootout was described as a spectacular weapons battle (see wikipedia.) when they come to bangor, do not miss it, in this beautifully renovated restaurant rich in history and ghost sitting

Had a wonderful time with the family today! very friendly waitress, she had a great job and great service, although we know that they are short employees. our sons had a great time and loved the burger, pizza, seafood and bottle flavored so! my youngest said he wants to work there! many thanks for the beautiful night, great setting when they eat exhausted and delicious!

My engaged I traveled for work and love to stop trying to new places. as Maine natives we were excited to stop here and try this, we hoped to try the new blue hill location, but it was closed. If we could evaluate that a zero, we would. that was one of the worst experiences we had. we sat fast (which was the only good), 21 minutes later we were greeted by our waitress, who was very soft, and she did not imagine. we ordered our drinks that she never broke. we then ordered our meal and she wrote nothing down, then had to proceed to ask us information about our order again - and my food still came wrong. we both ordered burger, medium. it took us 1 hour and 41 minutes to get our food without interaction from the waitress all the time. Once we got our food, our waitress disappeared and we didn't see her again. our burgers were raw, very rare. we paid the bill directly when the food was discarded and we left after we were unable to consume our meal. it doesn't matter to pay for good food and service, but $40 for 2 terrible burger terrible service is a bit much. absolutely will never try again, nor will we recommend to everyone.

I almost never leave reviews that are not 5 stars. I'm pretty easy to satisfy, especially when it comes to eating simple pub style and burger. that said that both the cheese and the bungalow on my burger are ice cold. not only that, but my bungalow was incredibly sluggish. not from much sauce or burger juice, but just wet. for $40 for two, I expected at least one edible burger.

To get the negatives out of the way service is slow (assuming due to staffing like everyone else), seating in the bar area is tight, and on a night like tonight the bar gets very cold.Those things being said I still give it five stars because the food is spectacular. The drinks are well made and creative and the bartender really knows what he's doing. My steak was cooked to absolute perfection and seasoned so well. French fries in duck fat were so yummy and flavorful. The menu is diverse without overstretching their abilities. I was there solo tonight and I already told my sister that I plan to take her there soon.
