I think they can ask them what they can cook, I think they can cook many different things. as they can see from the other reviewer, she can boil brooding from which I asked her. it was not a problem for them. good place for an Indian food and talk for the foreigner who can simply not find Thai to speak English with lol.
We went to Govindas for dinner. Upon arrival, we were invited to visit the Hare Krishna temple while our food was being prepared. It was just before 7 and there was dancing and singing, creating a lively atmosphere. We could also hear the sounds of ice cream being enjoyed by other patrons. The food was delicious and reminded me of meals I had in India. We decided not to order from the menu as we were unsure of all the options, and wanted to avoid any unexpected dairy products. Instead, we ordered mixed vegetables, Dal, and rice. Everything was made from scratch, even down to peeling the potatoes. It ended up being pricier than we had anticipated, but the overall experience was well worth it.
I have dined at Govindas Hare Krishna Spots in Brisbane, Barcelona, and Swansea. It's a unique experience, more like dining in someone's home. The kind lady who runs the place recommended the Veg Thali to me and I enjoyed it for 120 Baht. She is very religious, friendly, and speaks English fluently. Her Indian friend, who is not as fluent in English but has lived in Thailand for a while, joined our conversation in Thai. We ended up having a pleasant three-language conversation in Hindi (or Punjabi) as well. I believe you can ask her for a variety of dishes to cook, as she also prepared Borscht for another customer. This is a great spot for Indian food and conversation, especially for foreigners struggling to find Thai-speaking locals to converse with.

It was just before 7 o'clock and there was dancing and singing, which was very enjoyable. They also had a selection of ice cream for dessert. The food was delicious and reminded me of traditional Indian cuisine. We opted not to order from the menu as we were unsure of what to expect and wanted to avoid any unexpected dairy products. My experience at Govinda's was wonderful. Upon arriving for dinner, we were offered the opportunity to visit the Hare Krishna Temple while our food was prepared. We were entertained by dancing and singing before our meal was ready. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, with the sound of celebration filling the eatery. The food was delicious and reminded me of my time in India. To avoid any unexpected dairy in our meal, we chose to order mixed vegetables, dal, and rice instead of selecting from the menu. Everything was made from scratch, with great care taken in preparation, including the peeling of the potatoes. Though the prices were higher than anticipated, the entire experience was worth it.
