Sai Shakti is a place that has raw ambience and serves homely food. The place is generally small and demanding due to which one might have to wait for considerable amount of time before getting to taste their food. Their veg paratha is packed with vegetables and minimal flour. When taste takes higher precedence over ambience, Sai Shakti is bang for the buck!
Nice place to have lunch on a casual Monday.<br/ <br/ Don't expect great service but the food was indeed very good.<br/ <br/ On time visit is all I recommend
3.5/5<br/ I and a lot of South Indians that I know usually tend to consider North Indian food to be unhealthy as we haven 't tried it at the right eateries. As I took an unexpected route to Raghavendra stores (famous south Indian eatery , we discovered Sai Shakti restaurant and checked out it 's reviews online and were pleasantly surprised to see North Indian food associated with words like 'healthy ', 'home-made taste ', 'inexpensive '. Now, we end up here almost every week for dinner: <br/ This restaurant has apparently has been there for over a decade! It 's located in 9th cross near 90E route, Malleshwaram.<br/ <br/ Ambiance:<br/ -Gives a school/college canteen like vibe.<br/ -Restaurant can accommodate up to 40 people.<br/ <br/ Service:<br/ -Gets very crowded on weekends after 7.30 P.M.<br/ -Takes around 10-15 minutes to get the ordered food.<br/ <br/ Food:<br/ -Protein Chapati: Soft, fluffy, non-oily chapatis that get over in no time.-Veg soup: Thick and bland. Stay away from this one!<br/ -Veg Kadai: The best gravy I have had here full of good amount of vegetables. We asked the waiter to make it spicier: <br/ -Stuffed Capsicum gravy: Capsicums stuffed with potatoes and served in a green gravy. Not bad.<br/ -Tomato Rice: Tasted bland but could complete it as the rice quality served here isn 't rubbery at all.<br/ -Pudina/mint rice: This too was a little bland for my taste buds, not bad.<br/ -Salt lassi and rose lassi: Filling but I didn 't like the taste.<br/ -Badam Milkshake: It 's watery unlike what I have had at other eateries. Nonetheless I liked it as it had almond pieces in it.<br/ I loved the cucumber-onion salad topped with green chutney provided as a side dish with Chapatis.<br/ <br/ Must try: Protein Chapati, Veg Kadai<br/ <br/ Conclusion:<br/ -Best eatery in Malleshwaram to have healthy North Indian food.<br/ -No food item that I had here costed more than Rs.100. Thus, pocket-friendly.<br/ -Stick to the food items they 're known for/pro at.<br/ <br/ Food: 3.75/5<br/ Service: 4/5<br/ Ambiance: 3/5<br/ QFM: 5/5<br/ Overall 3.5/5
