I came here many times and this time I sat in the floor undergrouns. Parking can be a problem, you need to find a suitable parking. We ordered Chicken Cheese Kabab, Chicken Tikka Kabab, Butter Naan, Mutton Biriyani and Firni. The chicken kabab wrapped with cheese was melt in mouth, mildly sweet on pallette. The chicken tikka kabab was on the spicy side. Chicken sheek with cheese alone is a rockstar. The tikka kabab goes very well with Butter naan. Next comes the aromatic Biriyani with succulent mutton pieces and aroma of spices. You can order extra Aloo (potato) and boiled egg here. People familiar with Kolkata Biriyani must know that Potato and Egg are must have in our biriyani. Quantity is humongous. packs a punch. After the heavy meal comes Mildly sweet Firni, a dessert made of milk served in earthern pot. It refreshes your taste buds and gives a good finishing touch to the whole Biriyani saga. Price is also moderate in nature. The decor should be improved. The stuff are courteous.Food 9/10Ambiance 6/10Service 8/10Value for Money 9/10
If you want authentic Biryani in Kolkata style in Bangalore, I think this is the right place. If you're missing the melting piece of aloo in your Biryani in Bangalore, then your search ends here. They have chaaps as well and tandoor items along with Naans and rotis.<br/ <br/ We even visited during Durga Puja and this place was packed as Koramangala is a hub of bengalis and Durga puja. Everybody had to wait for quite some time to get a table. Anyways, the biryani tasted brilliant along with chicken chaaps. Just like the one we get in Park circus or New market.<br/ <br/ Highly recommended to all the biryani lovers!
Ordered for home delivery... Food is good. If you are a Fan of Authentic Kolkata Style Biryani then you must try from here. The only feedback the Chicken chaap what usually we have in Kolkata it's no where similar to that how ever the Dish was Tasted well at it's own way. Highly recommend for the mouth watering Biryani :
Authentic Kolkata style biriyani. When they write Mughlai it signifies additional piece of meat and an egg.<br/
Anyone visiting Lazeez really has to understand that it essentially caters to the Bangalore settled Bengali population unless you are a foodie and would like to take a chance. I love the place. I love the food. I love everything about it. I am a biriyani eater and of course the Chicken Chap. My all-time favourite! Lazeez can't go wrong with their Kolkata style Biriyani. And the Aloo! Yum! Soft as a pillow. Please do not expect a fine dining experience there. Of course, the AC won't work and the tables will have an oil stain. You really have to turn a blind eye in order to enjoy sumptuous food on your plate. So go there to enjoy the food and not the ambience. The food you won't regret, the ambience you might.
