To avoid this, one has to be really early and catch hold of their tables.<br/ <br/ The quantity is good and everything on the menu is reasonably priced. The menu isn't vast but there are few options available.<br/ <br/ They specialize in Andhra cuisine and the main course is served on banana leaf<br/ . <br/ <br/ I’d generally go for the thali or their Mutton Biryani, as that’s what they specialize in and are good at.<br/ <br/ The thali consists of the papad, dal, rasam, sambhar, 2 kinds of subzi, fresh curd and a glass of butter milk.<br/ Not to forget the ghee <br/ <br/ You could also have chutney pudi garlic and groundnut based and the Gongura chutney which is placed on the tables.<br/ <br/ Their Mutton Biryani is really delicious, mutton pieces were tender and flavorful. The biryani is served with raita and a bowl of curry. <br/ <br/ The starters, fish fry, chicken 65, spicy chilly chicken, etc.. are perfectly cooked with right spices.<br/ <br/ The service is quick and prompt. You may not get to spend too much time and relaxingly enjoy your food, specially during the peak hours as it gets terrible crowded.<br/ <br/ Parking can be a problem especially for cars...
Some really delicious Chicken Biryani and Chicken 64 is what you'll find at this restaurant. Yes, you read that correctly, it's Chicken 64 which also happens to be the only boneless starter on the menu.<br/ <br/ I can't comment on the ambience, but I'd recommend to be seated in the family section. Otherwise opt for a takeaway. If you're expecting a fancy schmancy ambience, you'll be highly disappointed. Ultimately, food is the most important thing... Isn't?<br/ <br/ The quantity is good and everything on the menu is reasonably priced. The menu isn't vast and there are few options available.<br/ <br/ It's actually one of the most underhyped Biryani places in Bangalore. I do feel it deserves more recognition and appreciation for it's delectable food and prompt service.
This the authentic Andra style Biriyani I have evr had, it was so spicy tht we had to drink Pepsi to cool my tongue otherwise this place is best and must try this Atleast once
Awesome place for biryani andhra food. Always crowded in peak hours. Loved the mutton biryani chicken 64. Bit disappointed because their popular item, prawn fry got over. Service is super quick and reasonanly priced place. A nice place to eat near Majestic.
I heard about this place from a family member who was previously into film distribution, this is a well known and old restaurant in the Gandhinagar area, word on the street is that food for most Kannada movie celebrities and shooting sets is packed and sent from here.<br/ So, recently he took me to this place, this has an old fashioned and retro ambience, I even learnt that some of the waiters have been working here since many years.<br/ <br/ The food is served on plantain leaf, the price is very reasonable and the food scores high on taste. We tried Chicken and Mutton biriyani, Chicken and Mutton fry, prawn masala, Rice, sambhar and rasam. I was blown away with the taste of biriyani, this felt so light that I could have eaten 2 plates myself. The fry was spicy and I loved it's flavor, the gravy went very well with the biriyani.<br/ <br/ Looking forward to visiting this place more often, I would certainly recommend this place if you are a hardcore foodie and fan of classic biriyani.
