Woody's - Bangalore

I absolutely adore the food at this restaurant. I always make sure to stop by whenever I'm on commercial street. They offer a diverse range of dishes to choose from, including delicious North Indian cuisine. I highly recommend trying their filter coffee, it's truly exceptional. However, I find their fresh juices to be overpriced and not worth it. I believe they could improve on their staff service.

One of the oldest and famous veg restaurant of commercial street, they serve delicious snacks, gulabjamoon is too yummy, best place to have snacks when you go shopping at commercial street.

Everytime we walked by this restaurant it always seemed to call out. So walk in we did. After two Kaapis (for me) and samosas and a Chole Bature later, I decided I was going back for more. The seating is ample on barstools, sit down tables and in the air conditioned restaurant; it's clean but something like a Chole Bature took us forever to get. The choice of chutneys available are extensive.All in all, fun!

We opted to sit in the air-conditioned dining hall to relax after a busy day. Our order included Idli Kadubu (barrel shaped Idli), Sambhar Vada, Mysore Masala Dosa, and Bisibelebath. We also ordered a plain cheese Dosa for our little chef, Tanay. The Idli Kadubu was the softest Idli we had ever tasted, and everything was served with three types of chutney and Sambhar. Each bite was bursting with flavor, making us feel truly blessed. The Bisibelebath had a slightly strong spice flavor but was still delicious. To our surprise, the bill came out to be only ₹539, including taxes. We were impressed by the quality of the food and the reasonable prices at Woody's.

I had excellent South Indian dishes at this restaurant. It's a great place to visit and one of the most nostalgic places I've ever been to. They have maintained the wooden decor perfectly. The staff are friendly and polite. A must-visit place.
