Stanley's Smokehouse - Banff

Chicken and brisket were cold, and not tasty. Fries very salty. Rhubarb pie very small, rhubarb pieces were hard and woody too old). Felt poorly shortly after eating this dinner

The restaurant is on the Banff Springs golf course. The view was beautiful and we did see an elk while dining. A shuttle takes you from the hotel and runs every 30 minutes. We were 1 of 4 tables of guests. Bar choices were somewhat limited and the service was not very attentive considering the lack of customers. However, the brisket was delicious,coming with a choice of barbecue sauce and 2 sides. For the view and the amount of food for the price, it is probably one of the best values in Banff. Despite the shortcomings, I would not hesitate to eat there again.

We visited the restaurant as a last night in Banff get together with friends, and it hit the spot. The setting is to die for gorgeous, and quiet. Most of Banff is crowded and can be loud, however, the relaxing setting, in the middle of the course, created a park-like feel. The smoked meats were amazing. The brisket was the winner, if you forced me to decide, but every element of the meal was delicious.

Best food, best price, massive amounts of foods. The scenery was spectacular. Go there often . Don't waste time withn others

I took my husband here for his birthday and was blown away at how wonderful it was. I had the Brisket and he had the pulled pork. The portion sizes were generous and very tasty. My husband gave the side Mac and Cheese two thumbs up. I would recommend the Peach Southern Tea or the Paloma as a cocktail with your meal.
