Chili's Grill and Bar - Banff

It is a lively and sunny place to eat. Our server put us at a nice table on the window. We had the ribs and the tacos. The sampler dip was also good. But the Pommes were a disappointment. They only lacked the taste and the crumb of the Pommes. Prices are on the high side. It was good for a one-time meal if you like Mexican cuisine.

When we got there, the restaurant was quite crowded, but our server was excellent. I ordered the delicious chicken burrito, and we also tried the tasty shrimp tacos and a fajita, as Chilis is famous for them. The blackberry I had was very flavorful.

We dined at this restaurant on March 23rd. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos and realized they were not cooked properly. The accompaniments for my husband's meal (salsa, sour cream, guacamole, etc.) were all frozen solid. I sent back my Tacos and asked for a refund. The manager came to our table and asked what the issue was, but offered no apology. He became defensive and argumentative, claiming that their shrimp always comes deveined. We insisted that it was the chef's responsibility to ensure they were properly cooked. The manager continued to argue with us, which is unacceptable. Another customer nearby also had a negative experience with the manager. We were extremely disappointed with the service and the manager's attitude and will not be returning to this Chili's.

If you have been elsewhere in a Chilis', this restaurant will not disappoint and the food is the same as others in the chain.

Very good, no surprises. Quite busy for a reason. Although I was there on a cold day in late October, it looks like there is a large outdoor patio along Banff Anvenue.
