The Grizzly House - Banff National Park

Had an amazing waitress who gave amazing service and was able to deliver an amazing experience to our night of revisiting how fondue is done well. Starting with a wonderful smile, water all round that was never empty, full understanding of the food menu to never ending attention to our needs. A great time was had by all we are still talking about it and would not hesitate to recommend the venue and service of this establishment. (We hadn’t booked yet were still accommodated). Over all meal was good but a bit pricey. The wait time is insane. If you’re planning to go put about four hours of your night aside for dinner. Although, this is probably due to our server. She was training a new hire who took up his own and was really helpful and kind to our party. We would ask her for things and it would take about 20 minutes for her to actually get back to us. Peter was right there with a smile on his face with helpful embrace. To end this, our long experience at grizzly was overshadowed by a rude server and upsetting wait time. I truly hope that changes are made and the restaurant can understand what the current problems are. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I was confronted by the waitress to give a larger tip. We waited 20 minutes in between courses and even longer upon waiting for the bill. The service was sub par, and I’ve never felt more uncomfortable. Many other waiters and waitresses did the job for her, even myself and my fellow diners stacked dishes for her. If you go and get helped by the blonde waitress be wary of the end of the dinner. Her trainee, Peter, however was amazing!
