I really enjoy the spicy creamy softshell caab spring. The other food was also delicious, just a little flavored. However, I still recommend coming here. You also have cakes. The staff were friendly and service was fast. The place is located on the upper floor of the roots.

This place has been here for a while. The fact that they are still there after all these years is quite impressive. Food is good for Brunei. Cake is delicious. The service is fine. 2 persons, 1 record. I had to get up and get my own record. There was nothing done or sold out. We ordered salted chicken waffles. Curry leaves are not used with the salted egg, but tastes ok. Would not suggest the deep fried squid and fish. It is more like deep fried dough with deep fried dough. Sauces like Wasabi Mayo and Pesto Mayo are very good.

I love roots and since R&B is from the same owner I thought I’d love it too. But not. I ordered the avocado salmon poached eggs thing. It was not tasty at all and did not taste fresh. The eggs were way overcooked. The potatoes were bland and tasteless. Really did not enjoy my food and I’m not fussy. The staff was a bit careless too, I had to stand up many times to go and take my order, ask for salt, pepper etc because they were ignoring me completely. Will not repeat. Shame because it has a nice ambiance and view on the street.
