La Dolce Vita - Ban Talat Nua

We came on Tuesday evening and the restaurant was very quiet. Staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered beef Carpaccio, 4 cheese pizza and lasagna. We also had 1/2 litre of wine (not bad for the price). Very good value and food was pretty good. The beef carpaccio would be better if there is some sauce like di manzo.

Ordered the Italian sausage and the pepperoni pizzas. The sausage wasn't a traditional sausage rather a processed hot dog version. Pizza was underwhelming with little bite or flavour. Garlic sauce to shrimp ratio definitely heavy on the sauce side but overall okay. This place is in an identity crisis, unsure if the focus is on; indian, western or Italian. My suggestion is to narrow focus to one type of cuisine and do it well. Boosted this to a 3 star review as the owner refunded the money of unhappy diners due... they ordered lamb chops and spaghetti and took one bite. Otherwise food is a 2 5

With Italian food restaurants, the food is everything and this place misses the mark when it comes to food excellent. The Caprese was an interesting interpretation and was okay as an antipasti. The penne al pesto was overcooked. And I have no idea why my last dish would be called Chicken Parmigiana. The chicken was dry, the breading was barely there and the Parmigiana was burnt. I won't eat here again and I don't recommend.

This is the most authentic Italian restaurant I have ever had. The waiters are very friendly. They help us a lot. We will come back,here also have thai food and sea food can try , very good

Stayed at the hotel above. Decided to give a shout restaurant underneath. We ordered some pizza and few dishes. They cane with 2 plates completely wrong than we ordered. Ok things happen, but staff wasn’t helpful at all maybe even rude, manager just waved me down after I mentioned what happen and fixed the situation without apologising or anything. The pizza is not amazing at all either. Very overpriced, especially drinks. Every other place would give complimentary drink or apologise after ruining entire dinner. None of this happened at this place. Maybe caught them on a bad day.
