Have they gone down on quality? My bento didn't taste that good. I didn't like the new composition of my tempura bento, especially the sausage part.
Fuji is a chain of Japanese restaurants in Thailand serving affordable Japanese food to the mass crowd. Variety of food is commendable. Quality of the food, however, is reflected by the reasonable low prices. It is obvious that the food served cannot be compared to higher end Japanese eateries. Service is very good and fast regardless of the crowd as the Central Ladprao branch is adequately staffed. Interior design is standard across all Fuji branches. The best value for money would be the set meals ramging from thb150nd above. We ordered a Salmon Teriyaki set and Katsu don set which both come with accompanying kimchi and miso soup. The 5 pieces salmon sashimi comes at thb320 and the ikura 2 pieces at thb240 which in my own opinion, is quite pricey for the quality you get. Overall, we recommend the set menus for a quick and easy meal. Overall, a meal for 2 cost us thb1,200 which I thought was very high for what I can brand to be a mediocre Japanese fast food chain. An interesting and positive fact that we realised was that the wasabi served was freshly grated instead of the normal mass produced wasabi which comes in tubes.
Decided to eat here during my first time business trip in bkk. the price is appropriate for this quality of Japanese food and ambiente. seafood is fresh and sushi rice is well pressed and shaped, the rice can be held firmly with chiffeln and not scattered everywhere. good texture.
Japanese food in normal taste all no salt and not expensive suitable for the old. (I ate in central ladprao twog)
