Phuket Fish Market - Ban Chalong

Seaside Halal Seafood Restaurant. The big shrimps are really nice. The other food we ordered is average. The price is on the high side. There is also a bad smell in the air either from the sea or a nearby drain when we were there. The employees react and speak English.

This is the worst food we had during our Phuket trip. We were brought here by our driver and we had a bad feeling about the place when we saw Tourbus parking outside. Staff asked us to order seafood while there is no fixed price for seafood. We have decided to order what is on the menu with price. The food costs as much as what I do in the five-star resort restaurant, and it is a small part and does not taste good at all. We were very disappointed at this meal. We thought we had nice local foods at a relatively local price. I need to make a complaint to the leader who recommended us this driver and hopefully no one is returned here.

Extremely overpriced restaurant (1000baht for a vege, a soup and a rice), with substandard taste. For this reason the asparagus warns right and hardly ready to eat. The Tomyum soup was very delicious. Not recommended. If you have been brought here by tour guides/tacists, you can check if he can take you to another restaurant.

We were told by the tour guide that this is the best seafood and cheap at phuket, but it is totally different! Although the atmosphere is quite good but the food is totally not worth the price at all! It is so expensive that we just ordered prawns and fish, not even lobsters nor crab! The service is definitely good, just I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here to enjoy the food here.

We had a good meal here, but we realized it was much more expensive than in Thailand. About 2 times more than usual for a meal. Not sure why that is.
