Schlenkerla, the historic smoked beer brewery

Amazing traditional German (Bamberg) food. You have produced many tips from beer in the house. A very special dark. In the center of town, very history place. Must be booked because is really busy restaurant. I was there on Tuesday and was 100% full.

What a special treat to drink their different smoky beers. We also had dinner there and food was good and plenty. But you should definitely come try their beers

Historically worth seeing. here is the hell go. beer garden pub and restaurant. speciality smoked. really need to get used. is a speciality. is really intense the broth time with sausage. who likes slaughtering plate with bloodworst is well-resolved here. great condition easy friendly and sweet.

My wife and I were in the schlenkerla for the first time yesterday. yes, smoke beer tastes good at the second glass, but then it will be ;-) eating (pant and bamberger zwiebel) was very good and came very quickly - it is freshly cooked for preparation, as much would otherwise take too long on the map. for that, it is all the more fleeting to serve after the order. in the schlenkerla you meet a colorful völkchen consisting of touris (as we are) from all corners of the world and also amazing many real bambergers. that makes the charm of the schlenkerla. we have come to talk through the long tables with some bambergers (among other things michel, kai and aga) and had a great evening with much fun. to the fun contributed to the supernette karo that served our table. we had never had such a warm and friendly thing for a long time, since we were of course also with the drink money not giciful :-) dear schlenkerla, stay just as you are, earthly, original, mutli-kulti and hospitable, then you will still stay in good memory for many other guests!

A really nice place! I loved the smoked beer, quite particular. The food (pork shoulder) was ok, friendly staff. Quite busy place, and a lot of people had beer outside, standing in the street! Perfect marketing strategy!
