I had initially planned to visit another location before Covid hit, but I was impressed by how they managed to stay successful during that time in downtown Fells Point. A little support goes a long way! I was even more convinced to visit after seeing the owner and her mother on my local morning news station discussing their special business. I made it a point to visit that same week, and I did. When I arrived, I ordered the "Vogel is the Word" sandwich, French fries, and pineapple lemonade. The customer service was top-notch, with a young, respectful Black man assisting me and recommending the delicious pineapple lemonade. I even convinced my friend to try it out, and she was blown away by her simple burger and onion rings. The food was fresh, tasty, and there was a minimal wait time. I will definitely be returning to order the same items, and more!
We waited 45 minutes for two burgers and a side of fries. The fries were hot but in small pieces and the burger was cold and overcooked, despite ordering it medium. However, the special sauce was fantastic. Be prepared to wait and make sure you're not too hungry when you arrive.
The salmon burger was dry, lacked flavor, and was significantly overpriced for what it is. It seemed to be made with canned salmon. The bun was just average. I would not recommend this dish, but food choices are limited in this area.
That was great. I'd like to come back here. However, it took almost an hour to get two burgers and pommes. with so long waiting time I will probably not return.
I had great service and the burgers were really good. You can definitely tell the ingredients are high quality compared to other burger places.
