The Civil - Baltimore

Black owned and loved the atmosphere. The food was amazing, I got the j lamb chops and the wife got the stuffed chicken. Would have gave 5 stars but the wait on our drinks was a little long, and they where a little watered down. Still a must try.

Came in from Buffalo,NY. Stayed in a hotel in downtown Baltimore and stopped by on a Sunday after the bills and ravens game but they were closed. I told myself I gotta come back even if it's a Monday. I came thru Monday and and it was Litttt (birthday party going on) the Bartender Brittany was great! She made this apple martini with crown that wassss A1! It's a vibe I'll be back EVERYtime I come for a Ravens game

This was a hidden jewel in Mt. Vernon. The atmosphere was amazing on a Thursday night. The DJ was playing all the hits and definitely given it a Friday Eve vibe!! We were able to enjoy the game, great food, and amazing service. Danielle aka Danny was very honest about her personal opinion on the menu and she did not miss. Her attention to details and energy was much needed. I felt overall that the Civil is a must return. Way to go to Danielle and the entire staff of Civil!! Great Job!!!

My best friend and I decided to eat and grab a drink here while we waited for another establishment on the same street, we ordered the crab meat egg rolls and the crab dip. The egg rolls just tasted like crab meat and cheese to me but the crab dip was delicious and I would definitely get it again. I ended up getting a sunrise or sunset something I really can’t remember but just ask for the bartender Brittney! She was the best and knew exactly what on the menu to recommend. She also suggested we come back for brunch and we definitely will be visiting here again … thanks Brittney for the great drinks!

Was wanting to try this place for brunch all weekend! Walked 5 blocks in the rain, made sure on yelp and google it was open, the sign is out saying Sunday brunch and open, but there was nobody in the restaurant and doors locked. Pretty disappointing and unprofessional.
