Taste Of China - Baltimore

This restaurant offers counter service and primarily takeout, so it's important to set expectations accordingly. It doesn’t seem fair when people rate a quick and affordable option poorly, especially when it's not trying to compete with gourmet establishments. Overall, the food was fresh and flavorful. The restaurant was clean and easily accessible from nearby hotels. The portions were generous, especially with the special that came with an egg roll. I didn’t find many good options for Chinese food in Baltimore, but this place met my needs perfectly.

I ordered the General Tso's Chicken lunch special with fried rice. The rice was brown instead of the usual yellow, and it included onions, carrots, and peas. I'm not a fan of carrots in my rice, but it was still decent. The chicken was quite tasty; there weren't many areas with just fried breading, and the sauce had a nice kick to it. Overall, I think it was a great choice for lunch.

I just finished my meal, and it was fantastic! The customer service was excellent—polite and quick with the delivery. The food was fresh and still HOT. I was a bit skeptical at first due to some other reviews, but I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this place!
