Saturday Morning Cafe - Baltimore

During our visit to Baltimore, we stopped here for breakfast, and it was outstanding! I tried the seafood Benedict, and I might just return to Baltimore specifically for it. My companion ordered a straightforward breakfast of eggs, toast, and fruit, but even that was elevated to gourmet quality. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend this spot to anyone seeking a fantastic breakfast experience!

This is a fantastic little black-owned café serving delicious food. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles, while I opted for the shrimp and grits. The flavors were incredible, although the chicken tenders were slightly overcooked. The service was a bit slow, but we didn’t mind as we had plenty of time to enjoy our meal.

I've visited this restaurant several times, and each experience has been less satisfactory than the last. On my most recent visit, I ordered the "sausage skillet." What I received was scrambled eggs on bland grits, topped with undercooked onions, tomatoes, and green peppers, along with a single overcooked sausage. I requested cheddar cheese but was given a slice of American cheese in a little black cup. No thanks! On a positive note, the pancakes were fluffy, the coffee was strong, and the lemonade was delicious. Unfortunately, the fish grits were forgettable. This was the first time I've sent food back, and I was told that I wouldn't receive a refund but could instead get a replacement. Since I didn't enjoy the first dish, I had no desire to try anything else, so I just laughed it off!

This place was recommended by my husband's co-worker...well i was disappointed the food wasn't good at all my son ordered pancakes and bacon his bacon was burnt we sent it back and it was still burnt I ordered grits with cheese and it was cold just told them i didn't want it. My husband asked for buttered toast he didn't get that then his food was to come with two pieces of fish as you can see it came with one(had to ask for the other one)..the portion of the food wasn't worth the price ..here are some pictures

Drove up from DC to visit this spot. I wasn't disappointed..was greeted immediately by the young hostess Chase. He was friendly and inviting. Even though the place was full and would probably be an hour wait. He came back to ask if we didn't mind bar seating..yes we will take it. Upon sitting we were greeted by Omar who was handling the bar area..again another attentive and friendly young man. From the atmosphere down to the exceptional food and coffee. This place was perfect. I'm in love with this place already and will spread the word to all I know. But for me I'm sold. Did I add they make there own coffee? Yepl I bought some...all love here#SOB
