Walking in, we both enjoyed smell of Indian cuisine that permeated the air. We were promptly seated and given a menu that had wonderful selections of Indian and Indo-Chinese food. The server offered to answer any questions and explained some of the dishes when we asked for details. They gave bread and tahini and . For appetizers we selected the

I've eaten here several times in the past year. They always do a great job. The food is always excellent and a good value. They ask what spice-level we want each time. The service always goes above and beyond. On our last visit, it was getting late but they offered to set up a table outside for us so we could enjoy the nice night and watch people walk by. The food was brought out quickly and looked/tasted wonderful. They offered to box up our leftovers. I've tried the buffet which was also great. The place is veteran-owned (Marines)...and every time we visit, the owner always greets us. We highly recommend this place. It's one of the few restaurants we look forward to visiting by JHU. Parking on the street is also pretty easy to find the evenings I've visited.
I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately the food was very disappointing, even for the low price. We got two Too Good to Go bags, one vegetarian one regular, so perhaps that was the problem. But as I understand it, Too Good to Go meals are just leftovers of the regular service meals.
