In rush hour you may have to wait for some of their best items such as Samosa and Naan, but the staff is very friendly and fast to serve at your table if needed. There is lots of space for even big groups. The price for buffet is a little higher than usual but worth it if you are going there only on certain occasions. This has been our official lunch place whenever someone is saying goodbye.
Just make sure not to eat too much (you 'll definitely want to)! The lunch buffet had a wide selection of vegan options, including naan, basmati rice, salad, steamed carrots and broccoli, chana masala, samosa, sweet potato pakura, and fresh fruit. The tables are surrounded by a semi-circle of padded seating and are enclosed on separate islands that open-up into the tall ceiling of the building, creating a private dining space. The waiter was exceptionally polite (referring to me only as my friend , for example), and there was always plenty of water on my table thanks to his efficient service. Definitely take some time to take-in the awesome decor of the restaurant as well.
Great food paired with a wonderful atmosphere. Simon and Herman took great care of us. Will definitely be returning for lunch.
I went here with my Lebanese friend who told me that the buffet here is amazing. After I saw the surroundings, I was little apprehensive. But, the place is well decorated inside. And, I was not disappointed with the food either. This is, absolutely, one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. Food is amazingly good. When the bread was over, we casually asked one of the staff, if they have more bread. They brought hot bread directly to our table even though it was a buffet!! Very courteous staff. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to taste nice Indian food.
One of my classmates suggested we all go here for an end-of-semester lunch, and it was great! I've never eaten much Indian food, so wasn't sure what to expect. It was a very comfortable atmosphere (nicer than I expected, since it is attached to Lexington Market, though it is its own separate restaurant) and had large tables with bench-style seating that was great for a large group. Since it's a buffet, you can eat as much or as little as you want, and it's easy to avoid anything too spicy if you're sensitive. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
