I ordered some shrimp yak via phone call and the person who I spoke with had a soft and very kind voice. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted and my food was hot and fresh in a bag. They were VERY kind and sweet. When I got home and finally started eating I realized that this was not my favorite. The noodles were quite bland and didn’t give that original Yak taste I so desperately was looking forward to tasting while visiting baltimore. I was disappointed with the taste but must admit the shrimp were very fresh tasting! If they can perfect their yak sauce a little more and keep that same fresh seafood…they will be unstoppable!
Not attractive when you walk in, but the food is good! (Better to than the place next door) all noodle dishes??.. spicy Singapore noodles.. delicious ?
I have lived in the area for years but I constantly overlooked this restaurant. My decision to give it a try was the best decision. The staff was super friendly and patient. I explained it was my first time there. I ordered 2 general tsos chicken lunch specials and 1 large Singapore noodles with shrimp egg rolls. EVERYTHING was hot, fresh and very good. I absolutely recommend. The lunch portions were large and very well priced.
Shrimp Egg Foo Yung was delicious. Thin patties had perfect ratio of toasty surface and fluffy middle with ample shrimp. Fried rice also had that nice toasted flavor from high heat. Less than 10 minute wait for our carry out. A friend suggested this place and I’ll be back.
Missing this all the way from South Florida! The BEST takeout Chinese.
