Przekaż informację zwrotnąI came here with a group of 30 for lunch and we were so well looked after. The food was delicious, service was prompt and the owner checked in with us a few times to make sure we were happy. Such a beautiful bakery with a great store next to it that you can buy nice fresh produce as well as sauces, jams, etc. I love the breads too. If you want a nice place to eat and a lovely drive, visit this place!
I think our impression would have been better if we did take-away. The food was nice, but the eating area is quite dark and lacks a bit of atmosphere.
I think the quality of their coffee is a huge draw factor. Locals are looked after with free early morning fruit buns to accompany early beverages. They have the best pies and unbelievable sausage rolls that ARE value! Food served at tables attract an extra dollar. A terrific variety of salads and some warming slices. Some sweet fare is a bit pricy but probably comparable to city prices. Our all time favourite for coffee. Closes late afternoon but extending weekend hours with classical music and guest artists.
Very popular with locals and visitors. Fresh baked cakes, bread and savoury choices. Providore attached. Jazz band Sundays. Delicious!
We dropped in for a bite to eat on a Sunday at lunch time on our way from Rye from to Hastings. Judging from the crowd, we were lucky to get a table. It looks like booking is essential because of the popularity of this place. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, the jazz band and Scicluna's deli attached to the bakery. The pies are all made on site and contain real lumps of meat. The coffee was good and the pizzas looked superb. They are well organised and can handle a large a crowd and are obviously used to it. Don't expect fine dining, but do expect to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon relaxing over a glass of wine and listening to some easy jazz.
