Ciao Bella - Balnarring

Anything you try at this restaurant you will not be disappointed. Every meal is fresh, full of flavour and generous sizes. The pizzas can be gluten free and they are some of the best gluten free pizzas available. Thank you for always having beautiful meals.

Haven't enjoyed Ciao yet. Tried a couple of times, mainly because it's close. This last visit maybe the Chef has lost his/her passion or caring. But also it's expensive (unless you have no limit with your budget) Pasta was ok but lacked creaminess (Carbonara) the Swordfish Penne a definite no, lacked flavour, not good! Just not enjoyable. We were charged for this, even though it was returned. That was sorted out but it should not have appeared on the bill. The Pizza was good. As was the Eggplant Parmigiana but it was an entree serve not a meal size as requested. Unless that was meal size, then it's too small. The table arrangements are too cramped.

This was my first visit to Ciao Bella, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. One waitress not so friendly, other was fine.Was looking forward to a pasta dish but was astounded at the prices for a local family restaurant, $38 for vegetarian gnocchi (pesto, zuchinni and chilli) and other pasta meals similar prices - this is what you would pay at a top city restaurant and not sure how this is justified. I had the crab linguine which was enjoyable. Might add that our meals arrived so quickly after ordering we felt quite rushed, a record visit, we were there less than an hour. Not sure I'll be rushing back.

We have always enjoyed the food here but the poor service is ridiculous with the hefty prices and so no more! The last two visits, we were asked to order "everything now" because the chef wanted to go home.This visit, the waitress couldn't crack a smile let alone converse at all. My husbands main arrived a full 5 minutes before mine; the table next door had a 10 minute difference. Taking the customers for granted just turns people away. Too many other good choices in Balnarring..

As always beautiful. Last minute Sunday afternoon lunch with family. Each and every meal was fresh, tasty, and plentiful. Great atmosphere. Cater to coeliac. Best Italian on the peninsula!!!! Definitely a must.....
