I also love the spinat Goma-ae has a great taste. my mamas favorite dish is the Wafu salad that has a beautiful dressing and mix of salat, but I personally am not a big fan of the soulweeds. the sashimi is beautiful and fresh, I wish they offer smaller portions, although 20 pieces sashimi is a little for two people! more recommended are the huh teriyaki, it has good quality meat with a beautiful teriyaki sauce and salat together. the lachs carpaccio entree was not as good as the other dishes as I felt that the dressur exaggerated the taste of the laugh a little. for dessert I enjoy the black sesameis more than the green teeis, it has a stronger taste. all in all this restaurant is very rustic and they must try it!
Eating is beyond expectations. very delicious! next to the sushi plate is not so special compared to other sushi place. but all curly dishes and dessert are amazing! recommend all dishes in the photos below: kingfish carpaccio, tempura mushroom with weathering, grilled aubergine with sweet nebel paste and dessert red buzzing rolls. come back, only for the courts!
Big business and so amazing fresh Japanese....byo, which is still better.. Anyway, if they don't bring enough byo, they don't sell alcohol they need to go to the bottle..o to more. but eat and price can not beat it
Teriyaki Boy was a pleasant surprise for me, so much so that I returned for a second visit. This review combines feedback from both experiences. It's a convenient spot for Balmain residents like myself. What sets this restaurant apart is its turnkey nature and the fact that it offers a variety of options.
Sushi Perfection! This restaurant is a favorite of mine. Alongside Ainoya in Kirribilli, it offers the best sushi and sashimi in Sydney. The service is exceptional, thanks to Miko, the head waitress who is a warm and lovely person. I have been coming here for years and each time I am greeted with a warm feeling inside. The menu is fantastic and I never get bored of it. While the decor may be a bit dated and it may not be the trendiest sushi spot in Sydney, the delicious food makes up for it. If you are in the Balmain area and enjoy Japanese cuisine, you must visit this restaurant.
