The waitress asked me if I would like something different so I said I 'd have the chicken. My initial order was the beef with mash and chips and no veg what I got in replacement was a piece of chicken on a plate of veg which I don 't eat, I got no mash or chips which was what I initially ordered. I didn 't eat the chicken. When I went to pay I said how bad it was and told the waitress that I got no mash or chips she just said aw are you serious and then proceeded to charge me the full amount. I asked her was she charging me for a meal I didn 't eat and she said she would check it out. She came back and said because they replaced the beef they had to charge me for the chicken when I questioned it she got the owner. Mr. Haugh the rudest man I have ever met. He brought me in the back so nobody could hear the conversation and said that they replaced the beef because I didn 't like it so they had to charge me for the chicken. I told him it wasn 't that I didn 't like the beef I couldn 't possibly chew it he then snapped back how come your boyfriend ate it . He continued to say that they haven 't received any other complaints about it to which I pointed out a man at the table across from us told his waitress that he couldn 't eat the beef as it was too grisly. He ignored this and told me he was charging the full amount, typed into the card machine and tapped it. I have never had such a bad experience and I couldn 't stress enough not to go here. Diabolical customer service
The pub at the "Wild Atlantic Lodge" feels more like a public beer spot. Alongside hotel guests, you'll also find some locals here, but the "Snug Bar" doesn't quite have the typical pub atmosphere. The red ale and stout were served nice and cold, and the service was friendly.
The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and a great vibe, but overall I found the food to be just average compared to other reviews I've seen. The burger I ordered was a bit dry.
We had the best seafood chowder during our visit to the country. The goat cheese salad was also delicious! I highly recommend this street pub. The service was wonderful as well!
The Snug Bar is a public beer pub associated with the Wild Atlantic Lodge hotel. It features a variety of local beers on tap. While it's primarily frequented by hotel guests, you'll also find some locals here. However, the Snug Bar doesn't quite fit the typical pub atmosphere. The red ale and stout were served nice and cold, and the service was friendly.
