Went for Sunday Carvery, beautiful food and great service.

Lovely quiet hotel with very nice staff that I cannot fault in any way. Breakfast would of been best served as a buffet as only choice of fry or mini fry, eggs or cereals but most hotels have buffet to serve yourself what you want and different choices of breads etc and fruits. Only toast given no pancakes croissants things like that. Dinner beautiful and satisfactory for a hotel. Views STUNNING. Beach 10 minute walk from the back of the hotel and it was just beautiful. Very romantic and great for children also. No entertainment on in the hotel during the week whatsoever except for a Saturday. Would of expected something for June so that was a big disappointment for us and we had to travel elsewhere at night for that. The room was beautiful clean and had a sea view but...beds were terrible, very uncomfortable mattress, left with a very sore back. Heating too warm and expecially for June there should of been little to no heating on for that time of the year. All in all thr staff were brilliant, hotel was what I expected, abit dated and fusty smell but you paid for what you got. Their website needs updated as it states quiz night every Wednesday at 8pm which we highly anticipated but was told on arrival that was precovid, but thus should of been updated for visitors as there was nothing whatsoever at night to look forward to for adults. Trip was great otherwise. Malin head close by and views of the Atlantic are breath taking. Famine Village 8 minute drive from hotel...HIGHLY recommended at 12 euro pp which includes entrance and tour, tea/coffee with scone or cake and a shot of poteen xx Will we be back??? Maybe not to this hotel x

Have been twice now and are planning our next stay , lovely hotel and food is fantastic and the staff are so friendly, highly recommended
