Iron Roost Cafe - Ballston Spa

I love that this restaurant offers so many vegan options! We tried the vegan waffles with strawberries and bananas, waffle sticks, homeries, and a vegan brownie. The restaurant was very busy, so we waited about 30 minutes for our takeout order, but it was no problem. I tried to put our name on the waiting list on Yelp before we arrived, but it said there was no wait time. However, when we got there, there was a wait for seating. I highly recommend adding a side of avocado cocoa mousse to your waffles – it was delicious. The homeries were also fantastic! I'm usually not a fan of homeries, but these were perfectly seasoned. The waffle sticks were good, though I expected them to be crispier. Overall, a great experience!

Wow! We stopped at this restaurant for brunch while passing through the city and had an amazing experience. The menu offers a variety of delicious options. The food was fresh, hot, and served promptly after we placed our order. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. If I lived closer, I would definitely be a regular customer at this place!

The service and food at this restaurant are always excellent. My husband ordered the Banana Foster waffle with a side of domestic frits, sausage, and Cheesy eggs. I opted for the Lemon Berry waffle with a side of fruit salad. He enjoyed an ice cream coffee while I savored the cinnamon ice cream coffee. The food was delicious and the service was quick.

Loves the iron-roost. Always a great breakfast and good coffee. Wife with celiac eats waffles and other delicious gluten-free things. The two bird bakeries are also fantastic. Look at it.

Go!!! This place is a gem. Ballston Spa rocks. We love the baked goods offerings and order bread each week. Recently, we tried a specialty cake. Unbelievable a work of art that was quickly gobbled up. DELICIOUS!! Thank you, Iron Roost!!! We get their freshly baked bread weekly. Best ever!! 9/2/21 We have a new favorite bread cracked grain. Light and simply yummy!!! Also, another cake hits the spot. Undine, one of our birthday honorees, had a second slice. A sure sign of dessert perfection! Thank you, Iron Roost/Two Birds. 12/2/21 My husband and I needed to chase away the December cold rain blues. Lunch at Iron Roost did the trick! Yummy buddha bowl and turkey wrap. Oh, and the coffee soul saving. All served up quickly by the wonderful staff. Just say micro vacation!! 3/29/22 We're regulars for lunch and baked goods. What would we do without your bread? Our almost weekly order consists of whole wheat and cracked grain bread and a baguette. Amazing. Lunch today was buddha bowl for me (of course) and caprese panini and a side of waffles for my husband. Love Iron Roost!!
