Thai By Night - Ballina

I had a very disappointing experience at Thai By Night. I had made a reservation for lunch on January 3rd for my friend's 84th Birthday, but when we arrived at the restaurant on December 27th, there was a sign on the door saying it was closed for lunch that day. No one from the restaurant had informed me about the closure, despite taking my phone number when I made the reservation. When I called the restaurant that evening, the Manager claimed she had tried to contact me but I had received no missed calls or messages from her. I will not be recommending Thai By Night to others and strongly advise against making a booking there. The Manager was dismissive and showed no concern for the inconvenience caused by their lack of communication. Their customer service skills are appalling.

There are a variety of dishes on the menu that can be made vegan. I decided to get the Pad Prikking Stirfry with tofu to go. The vegetables were delicious and the sauce, while not very spicy, was enjoyable. I recommend checking this place out if you're craving some Asian-style veggies and tofu.

I ordered curry puffs, which were on the smaller side and just okay. They were a bit bland, but the sauce helped to improve the flavor. I also ordered Penang curry with tofu, which was absolutely delicious! There were plenty of vegetables, tofu, and coconut rice included as well. #Veganuary.

This restaurant is amazing. I have never had a bad meal, every dish is full of flavor and deserves a 10/10 rating. Without a doubt, this is my favorite Thai restaurant in the Northern Rivers. The owners are also wonderful, as they have been providing meals to locals affected by the floods. Incredible! If you're looking to support a small local restaurant, this is the one to choose!

The food is fantastic, the service is friendly, and I highly recommend it. If you love fresh and bold flavors, you must try Thai by Night. I suggest making a reservation for dining in, or you can also opt for takeout.
