Zaragosa - Ballarat

Great food! Staff are beautiful and accommodating. Valencia Paella went a leak after the Jalapeno poppers. Ham Croquets also highly recommended.

The food here was fantastic and cheap. We didn't have to wait too long for our meals. The staff was well presented and friendly. The atmosphere was beautiful, beautiful and peaceful, although it was quite busy while we were there. We'll be back.

The Spanish food was nice and service was very friendly. I feel that the restaurant interior does not have the style of the kitchen (i.e. it does not have much character. It could do with a small makeover to feel warmer and more interesting (can some Spanish music be? .

Up until the original Zaragosa burned down they were definitely our favorite Ballarat restaurant, primarily because of the amazing atmosphere. The new location still offers great food (the fajitas are my fave, along with their Red Skin Margarita however the new restaurant is just not the same. It's a cross between casual and fine dining and feels a little lost in between. I'd give anything for the original Zaragosa atmosphere again but I still recommend stopping by :

Nice atmosphere, often full so requires bookings in advance. The food was nice but could have been much better for the price. Waiting were slack and mispronounced the menu.
