Western Hotel Bistro - Ballarat

I highly recommend the Western Hotel for a family meal. The menu had many options to choose from and we all loved the food. The service was outstanding. Overall, it was a wonderful, laid-back dining experience.

The food was mediocre, and the staff were rude and pushy, making us feel rushed to finish our meal as they had booked another party for our table of 8. I would not recommend this restaurant and would never dine here again.

The staff at the restaurant were friendly, but the chicken curry I ordered was the worst I have ever had. I was very disappointed, especially since I was told it was delicious. In my opinion, it wasn't even a proper curry.

Just sat in the bar and had a great lunch. Parma, gnocchi, chicken Florentine and bangers n mash all very good. Will return.

Went on a recommendation that unfortunately I can not return the favour. Food was overpriced for the substandard we were served and the staff were rude and slow. Wish I could say something nice as I’m not a fan of leaving unfavourable reviews but we actually couldn’t find anything, sorry
