He looked really pleased when he could see my relieved excitement. I would recommend speaking to the cheff and bypassing the wait staff.
The restaurant offers two gluten-free options, but they're barely tolerable. It feels like the gluten-free choices are an afterthought.
The staff wasn't knowledgeable about celiac disease, but when I spoke with Chef Suraj, he fully understood the requirements. He went into detail about the measures he takes to prevent cross-contamination. It was great to see how happy he was to see my relief and excitement. I highly recommend talking to the chef and communicating with the waiting staff about any dietary concerns.
I found only two gluten-free options on the menu, which was quite disappointing. The food was hardly decent and I didn’t feel that the staff understood what gluten-free truly means. The service was also rude.
