Yes, it was my mistake for not telling the waitress that half the chips served with my cheeseburger were completely inedible I did try eating them honestly but in the end even the fork could not penetrate these overcooked spuds more suited for laying a garden path. I know how this happened, and probably because we were late arriving at lunchtime (1.45 pm) I suspect that the chip fryer had been turned off. The chips were solid and running with oil and most un appetising in fact the chef destroyed them !!! But my mistake in not letting on at the beginning was not helped by being told quite brusquely when I paid that I should have done and that sometimes things are not quite perfect ! A complimentary coffee offered does not change the fact that the chef needs educating ! These chips should not have been served in the first place. It would have been obvious to any aspiring cook ! Ah well lesson learned, If you visit this place, and the chips (or anything else) is inedible PLEASE SPEAK UP !! And in case anyone thinks this was our first visit it was not we have regularly used this restaurant as a watering hole for a considerable time but possibly would not recommend to any of our guests. Very disappointed in the food and response offered.

The meals were well presented and very tasty, although very busy the meals came out quickly. The service was really good with happy staff wanting to please. The live music was mixed with Jen Lush band absolutely fantastic, to a guy playing guitar and harmonica and singing which gave me a headache. The only downside to the day was the coffee afterwards which tasted like dishwater. Overall a pleasant day with good food and great staff.

Wow, the steak was brilliant haven't had one that good for ages. Staff were fantastic, smiles and great service. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere was very mellow for a sunny Saturday afternoon. Will be back, and can guarantee I'll be telling my friends about it

I enjoyed a tasty draft beer and found the staff to be very friendly. The atmosphere was fairly quiet during my visit, but had a charming vibe. The restaurant also boasts a lovely beer garden.

My friend PJ treated me to lunch after a long morning at work because it was my birthday. I opted for the $12 lunch special which included barramundi, chips, and salad. We also enjoyed a couple of cold light beers since we were heading back to work. The chef did a great job, and the service and ambiance were both excellent. Thanks, Beachy!
