The Gate Cafe - Balclutha

Food is amazing. Good coffee too. We drove down to Balclutha for the day from Dunedin. Lovely big cafe, perfect for bringing in your little one in a pram. Friendly service. A lovely place to shelter from the passing rain.

Good coffee nice and hot. Delicious muffins we had a rhubarb custard and cheese. Nice and clean with friendly, helpful service

Great Sunday morning coffee. Boysenberry muffin was fantastic.

Always a great place to stop, for a pot of tea and a nibble.

I had time to spare and so popped in for a chai latte and muesli slice. Service with a smile and prompt service made for a nice visit. I bought one of their big muffins to take away. YUM.
