The Dairy Cafe - Bala Cynwyd

This restaurant is fantastic! We've visited twice, with over a year in between, and we were impressed both times. While it isn't the cheapest option, the portions are very generous—I've never been able to finish my meal, even though everything I've tried has been excellent. The fresh mozzarella sandwich with caramelized onions and the white mushroom pizza were the highlights of our meals. The salad bar is ample enough to serve two people, with all the toppings being fresh and flavorful. The french fries are crispy and perfectly seasoned, and the freshly baked goods are equally delightful, especially the raspberry, which was outstanding. Even the caramel latte surpassed what you'd find at most cafes, rivaling Starbucks. The service is friendly, though it can be a bit slow at times. The atmosphere is charming, with a variety of cozy seating areas. I believe this is one of the best kosher cafes around. Tip: If you're driving from New Jersey, consider taking the backroads near or along the Delaware instead of the congested main roads; it's a beautiful route!

I visited the restaurant during my lunch break and was pleasantly surprised by its cozy atmosphere. You place your order at the window and then find a seat as you wait for your food to be ready at the pick-up window. We discovered plenty of comfortable seating options available, including couches, booths, and tables. There was even a TV and a quiet room. We chose to sit outside on the covered deck, enjoying the lovely weather. We tried the chocolate chip pancakes and the confetti pancakes, both of which were delicious. I highly recommend the chocolate chip pancakes, especially for their generous ratio of chocolate chips to pancakes. They also have a selection of salads and sandwiches on the menu.

Charming kosher café offering a diverse selection of drinks and dishes. There’s ample seating available on both the upper and ground floors, with various types of rooms, including quieter spaces ideal for studying. The staff are generally friendly, though service could be a bit quicker during lunch hours. The only downside is that the parking lot has meters, so if that poses an issue for you, it might be better to seek street parking instead.

Very large, beautiful and clean place. Great for pizza. Very child-friendly.

Really terrific food at reasonable prices. Breakfast and brunch foods are excellent and the pizza is great, though no whole wheat options on the pies. It's family friendly, so there is always an undercurrent of craziness, but it's nice to be able to bring the entire family. Overall,a great addition to the community.
