The Belvedere In The Padre

Fantastic haunted hotel! The food downstairs is delicious, and the staff is really friendly. The showers are cool, but there's one feature the designer may not have considered: a clear door to the bathroom. While it's one thing to catch a glimpse of someone in the shower, witnessing them use the bathroom takes intimacy to a whole new level. That said, after a stay at this haunted hotel, you and your partner might find your bond strengthened in a way that makes the lack of bathroom privacy a non-issue! Enjoy your stay!

As for the rooms, I adored the comfortable mattress and stylish headboard; they felt modern, clean, and spacious. The tiled shower was equally modern. For food and drinks, we enjoyed the steak with Brussels sprouts and a fruit and cheese platter. In summary, The Padre is an outstanding place to stay, dine, and catch a show at the Fox. We had a great time chatting with others at the bar, even hearing some ghost stories. I can't wait to return and will definitely spread the word!

I had trouble reaching the main desk; I had to call the main number from my cell phone to get in touch with room service. They transferred my call and apologized that the room service extension wasn't working. There weren't enough towel racks in the room, and there was no information available about the hotel's amenities, such as the ice machine and restaurants. Additionally, there were no cups in the bathroom, and the valet signage was poorly marked. On a positive note, the desk staff were outstanding and incredibly helpful.

I had a horrible experience. I called months prior to my stay to talk to someone about the reason I was staying. I was throwing a Bachelorette. I explained how we were getting 2 suites and was going to be decorating one and using one for facials for some of the small wedding party which was 4 people. I explained that at a later time guests would should up to take pics with the bride. I did not get the person on the phones name, but they gave me the ok I didn't think to get a name because I was being given the permission obviously and the ok to continue forth with that, so my to my understanding everything was fine and I booked. The girl on the phone was super nice, friendly, and was so excited because of all the plans. I booked awhile back and have been in contact with the hotel several times throughout the months to see if I can get an early check in to set things up. Everyone I spoke to was well aware. The day of, when people started to show up, I had a man from the front desk by the name of Christian come and had me a sign a paper saying I could be evicted. I was caught off guard and wasn't warned about this at all. The intent was not to party there, we were just taking pics and were going to all leave to dinner shortly after. I went downstairs to talk to him and he was incredibly rude. I understand if there's policies that prevent many people in the room after he told me, but I did call ahead of my reservation for a reason and not once was I told that. When I went back upstairs he didn't even give me 5 minutes to get back up there to kick everyone out before he was blowing up my phone. He was on a high horse, his behavior was disgusting. I will never stay there again because of that. I was totally respectful and wish someone would have told me this ahead of time. I would have booked something else somewhere else where I could do what I intended to do for the bride. We left as I said we would and continued with our plans. Only 2 people slept in each suite that night and I was told I had 0 noise complaints by another actually nice employee who apologized on behalf of Christian's behavior, which was not their fault at all. I was also told Christian wrote notes about me on my reservation, which is so petty. None of this would have been an issue if I was told initially that it was not ok and Christian did not have to come on his high horse and act the way he did, acting like he owned the place. It was embarrassing for the company and cringy how he put me on blast in front of a ton of people and could have at least pulled me aside and explained the situation. Never again will I book here. The ac was horrible and the room was incredibly hot. The lighting was sooooo dark in the restroom you could tell some were not working. Staying here was so not worth all of this. Never again.

Very nice hotel and excellent staff and customer service. The lobby restaurant and bar was magnificent. Delicious food and friendly employees. The free drink that came with my reservation was a pleasant surprise!
