Miyoshi Japanese - Bakersfield

The service at this restaurant has consistently been excellent. It gets quite busy during lunch, so it's a good idea to call ahead and place a takeout order. They offer fantastic lunch specials. However, if you have an early lunch break, you might find it challenging since they don't open until 11:30 AM.

Fantastic food! I'm not a sushi lover, so I opted for the Teriyaki chicken while dining with friends, and it was incredible. The chicken was tender, and the sauce was so delicious I almost wanted to lick my plate clean! My friends, who are sushi enthusiasts, raved about it and claimed it's the best in town. My only downside was the size of the restaurant; it was quite cramped, and we had to wait just over an hour for a table. However, considering the amazing food, I will definitely return!

I absolutely adore this restaurant. Every roll I've tried has been fantastic, but the Tiger Tail is definitely my favorite. The waitstaff is friendly and genuinely seems to enjoy their work. The chefs are incredible. If you don't arrive early, you might have to wait for a table, but it's absolutely worth it!

Favorite sushi place in town. I like that it doesn't have those loud, annoying teppanyaki grills. I'm more of a sushi purist, I don't go out for sushi to eat terriyaki chicken. This place has some pretty interesting, but fairly Americanized rolls. I'm a big fan of their seaweed salad and hamachi sashimi. If left to my own devices I think I could eat a pound of hamachi sashimi it is that delicious.

Great fresh food!. All the food they serve appears to be very fresh! I love their cucumber salad and haven't ordered a roll I did not like. Presentation is nice, and it is reasonably priced!
