Pentagon Restaurant - Bairnsdale

May have reviewed on a previous occasion however need to say this again, this restaurant may be easy to miss on your way through Bairnsdale however do yourself a favour and stop in. The decor is quite simple however the meals are a real standout. Large portions, lovely flavours and lovely staff to compliment your evening. Get in quick as I believe the business will close due to a new development in that location which will result in the owners hanging up the aprons... very sad...

Good value for money, humungous meals I must say. Very casual and welcoming and has a homely ambiance. However, decor needs updating all round as it is looking very tired. A good facelift is what it needs. Would go again though.

Every time I go to this restaurant I am always amazed at the large servings. No one is disappointed. Quality is excellent. Menu is old style pub food, fish and chips as well as steaks definitely recommended. Friendly and cheerful service.

We'd been looking forward to dinner here after it reopened for the new year. To say we left disappointed is an understatement. Service was ordinary and so were our T-bones. At 40 bucks a pop, we expected the same quality and experience as previous visits. Unfortunately we'll probably choose elsewhere for our next date night.

Unassuming place tucked behind the Bairnsdale Motel, but certainly worth the stop. Big portions, nice fire place and the gentlemen who served us (jack of all trades) was very welcoming and friendly.
