Maisey's Restaurant - Bairnsdale

Not known as Maisey's anymore it is called Since moving to Bairnsdale years ago we have been been looking for a restaurant that could compare with Long Paddock in Lindenow minutes away). No sure if is quite as good, but...it is easily the best restaurant in Bairnsdale itself. Menu interesting, food very good and very well presented, and service very good. I am particularly impressed with their wine list. Someone there clearly knows their wines.

Priced similarly to a pub meal but far superior food and service. I had a Scotch Filet with a seafood sauce, the best steak I've had for ages, Cooked perfectly. Followed by white chocolate brûlée with raspberry sorbet, husband had entree of Spring Rolls, very...tasty and seafood fettuccine. Staff were very quick and efficient. Hostess, convivial and welcoming. Can't wait to go back again, definitely the best food in Bairnsdale

I tagged along with my wife for a business trip to Bairnsdale. Stayed two peaceful nights. Went to Maisey's Restaurant both nights and glad we did. The meals here are top notch. Medium rare steak the first knight and it was perfectly cooked, with crisp...veggies. The second night, I had Duck breast with Veg. The duck was blushing just as it should, crisp skin, what a great feed. If you're ever looking for somewhere to eat in Bairnsdale, here is the place, you will not be disappointed.

Really enjoyed this little restaurant. Book early because this is a very popular place. Good range of selections are available on the menu, service is good and the quality of the food is great.

The Maisey‘s in the Bairnsdale International is fine and comfortable. The staff was very considerate and friendly. I enjoyed having a nice steak. The highlight was a marvellous crème brûlée with handmade raspberry sorbet. Definitely a good place to eat in Bairnsdale, especially when staying...at the Bairnsdale International.
