Doc's Bainbridge

We had lunch on Mother's Day, and even though they were offering a complimentary dinner for moms, I decided to go for the deluxe bacon cheeseburger instead. It was incredible! The food was superb, and the service from the waitstaff was exceptional!

I asked to speak with the chef, who truly knows food better than most. She shared that the prime rib is marinated in her special secret recipe for three days before it's slow-roasted, and it was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious! We were so full from our generous portions, but we couldn’t leave without trying the homemade carrot cake, which was equally amazing. The service was flawless, and the restaurant, including the restrooms, was clean and inviting. We were so impressed that we returned the very next day while still in the area. This time, Thursday’s special featured broasted chicken or beef and noodles. My husband had the chicken, and I opted for the catfish. Both dishes were great! This experience has shown me that stopping by a small restaurant along the way can be one of the best decisions. We can’t wait to return as often as we can. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The food lacked flavor; I anticipated some gravy on the meat, but it was absent. Other patrons were also dissatisfied with their meals and were returning them.

The food was acceptable, but it took over 30 minutes to get two salads and a small order of French fries. The service was excessively slow.

I always order the mushroom Swiss burger because I love the fried mushrooms!
